EXTRA INFO about KAYAK SHIPPING COST
Zone 1, 2, 3 To keep clear and simple for you we work with a flat rate pricing. Real shipping cost is in most cases higher than mentioned in the table above. The difference we pay for you.
Zone 4 afterwe've received your order we will request the actual delivery cost to your address. This usually takes a few days. After your approval for the cost, the final invoice including actual shipping cost will be made. Shipping will be done either by AIR or SEA.
Options for transport :Door to door and Door to (air) port
Door to Door: All paperwork will be done for you by the transport company and the product will be delivered to your doorstep.
Taxes, local charges, import duties not included. This is a more convenient way for you as the buyer, but more expensive as well.
Door to (air) port: Product will be transported from our warehouse to an (air) port of your choice.
All paperwork will have to be arranged by buyer with a local clearance agency / broker. Taxes, local charges, import duties not included.
This is cheaper at the end but slightly more work for buyer.
DD-sports can arange the way of shipping of your preference and will take responsibilty for correct packing and paperwork needed for the transport.
DD-sports is not responsible for the transport itself, and for handling / clearance / starage / complications as soon as parcel has left the Netherlands.
DD-sports will always do it's best to help you in case you need assistance.
Own transport Contact us before ordering If you wish to collect a product from our office / warehouse in The Netherlands. ( Zone 0 )
If you live out side EU local duties, import charges, handling, is not included in shipping cost.
* If you choose to collect the boat at our factory in Holland the shipping cost will be deducted from the invoice total.
*Prices are based on deliveries in cities and vilages. Far away locations will be additionaly charged depending on location( only for kayaks) .
*Paddle delivery cost based on shipment in parts. Maximum parcel length EU 170 cm / Rest of world 145 cm.
*Real shipping cost for paddels and kayaks is much higher than what we charge to you. For that reason No additional discount will be given on shipping bigger orders.
Transport insurance
All deliveries are including transport insurance and standard packing.
The insurance covers damage and loss of products. Damage must be checked at the moment a parcel / product is received. In case of damage this must be mentioned to the person/company who delivers. They must make a note on the delivery form. We must be notified within 24 hours about the damage. After contact with the delivery company we decide how to solve the problem. In case of loss we will send a replacement product as soon as possible.
Delivery time
- Paddles usually can be delvered within 1-3 weeks.
- For kayaks ( clear carbon ) our goal is to delivery within 4 -8 weeks after ordering.
- Coloured boats might take longer becasue they are custom made. If you need your boat faster? Request for Quick-delivery-service.
- Delivery time to outside the EU will take longer due to sea/air freight.
- Mentioned delivery times are estimed and depend on time of season and transit time of the shipping company.
We strongly advise you to order 12 weeks IN ADVANCE if you would like to get your boat delvered at a sertain date. ( EU )
Orders will be reserved for you after payment is received in full.

If you realy need a new boat fast ( within less than 6 weeks ) you can request for our quick delivery service*
Addtional cost for Quick-delivery-service € 99 per kayak. This service is on request and upon availabilty.
Parcel dimension EU / World
PADDLES / GEAR delvery charges mentioned in our webshop are fixed prices for parcels with maximum dimensions.
( EU / Europe max 170 cm length, World 145 cm length ) Bigger size on request.
Ordering
You can order from one of our dealers or in our online shop. If you order online in our shop the below mentioned shipping cost are indicated.
To most EU location the indicated cost is the cost we charge. However if you live far from a big city or location that is difficult to reach with a big truck the price might be slightly higher then mentioned. After receiving your order we will check location and confirm the actual delivery cost to you.
If you order from one of our dealers the product can be collected at their shop or they arrange shipping for you.
